Who we are

Inov Robotics  inspires the next generation of engineers by developing a passion for newer technologies and careers in STEM at a young age and maintaining interest throughout middle and high school. Inov Robotics was launched in March 2017 by a team of young and aspiring entrepreneurs. We began this journey with an intention of developing robots for research and education purpose to bring about a major change in the way science, maths and engineering is taught to student.

From our teaching experience, we realised that activity based learning induced greater interest and understanding the subject than regular teaching practices.

In addition to classroom visit and other events, Inov Robotics provides project mentoring, career introduction, all geared toward connecting students to the opportunities provided by a STEM education and occupation.

We provide students with an activity based education that excites, engages and enriches through an unique, learn-by-doing curriculum.

Our Vission

Inov Robotics is ambitious about bringing technology to classroom. We believe that learning technology using educational kit and robot is more lively and realistic than learning from books and blackboard teaching.

Our Mission

To create a community of young engineers focused on utilizing newer technologies to develop human friendly and assisting devices. Our educational programs will be aligned towards Robotics, Electronic development, Automation, CAD, Mechanical engineering and IoT. We are determined to fulfil our vision through Outreach, Product Development, Research, and Training moudule; all contributing towards the goals of increasing technology literacy and excitement for learning technology through ITA’s modular robotic kits, creating opportunities for students to gain experience through internship and projects thereby making a student experienced and more qualified for job before graduating and improving students’ skills to create quality engineers and contribute to nation’s growth.



Our Research Portfolio

We encourage students to pursue research beyond their regular school lessons.  This is to tap their potential to innovate from an early age and experience the flexibility in learning.  The topics are chosen by the students themselves and guided by us to ensure the research SMART – Specific, Achievable, Attainable, Relevant and Timebound.


Our first research intern is Sudarshan Sreeram, a student from Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Mylapore, Chennai.  We worked on an initiative on dengue hotspot identification that included development of a new methodology that combines Six Sigma principles applies to robotic systems development.


The output from this research was published at the following two conferences:


1.      EMBED-X: An integrated methodology for human – robotic systems development and interaction publication date Oct 9, 2018.  IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Oct 07-10, 2018.


2.     Autonomous Robotic System Based Environmental Assessment and Dengue Hot-spot Identification publication date Jun 12, 2018.  Presented at the 18th IEEE International Conference on Environment and Electrical Engineering, Palermo, Italy June 12-15, 2018.

Our Services


It’s an occasion to understand and learn how to incorporate learning strategies into content coursework. Therefore we understand the need and necessity for arranging workshops for students to provide a practical exposure of working with machines.We also organize summer camps for school students!!


Attending a seminar while studying has numerous benefits including improving communication skills, gaining expert knowledge and networking with people. Inov Robotics is planning to host seminars within the college and at our premises to provide an insight of how life in industry is and to inspire students.


Internship can reduce the increasing rate of unemployment among engineering graduates and also make a graduate become worthy of grabbing a job in his/her core field. Students showing excellent performance in internship will win an opportunity to get funds  for project development.

Inov Robotics is primarily focused on developing products that solves practical issues and improves practices in education and workplace. Our first product is an educational modular robotic kit targeting the school students.


Inov Robotics spends time with students in understanding their career goals and guides students in choosing a project that will help them follow their career aspirations. Inov Robotics also engages students showing interest in developing projects on Robotics, Automation, IOT and Rapid prototyping.


Inov Robotics in association with startups and core industries requiring skillful engineers will conduct placement programs. Inov Robotics will also recruit some of the best performers in our internship and project programs to work on our product development projects.
